Preston Coblentz

“A graduate of West Holmes High School, Preston was formally trained in Aviation Maintenance at Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and received an Airframe and Powerplant certification in 2001. This training gave him the fundamentals of critical thinking, troubleshooting, electronics, and component repair. After working as a technician for a major airline, he moved back to Holmes County in 2007. An interest in technology and fixing things grew into a hobby of computer repair which Preston turned into a part-time business in 2008. He received a career diploma in PC Maintenance and Repair in 2009. In 2013 Preston transitioned into the business full-time. His wife, Bonnie, joined him in the business in 2016. They have three children. In rare moments of spare time, Preston enjoys hunting and watching football and basketball.”

Bonnie Coblentz

Owner / Marketing

“A graduate of West Holmes High School, Bonnie received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Art from Ohio Northern University. After working in the hospitality and banking industries for many years, Bonnie held the Marketing Coordinator position for the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau for almost ten years. During that time she collaborated with local business owners to develop marketing strategies to promote and brand Ohio’s Amish Country. In 2016 she joined her husband, Preston, in the business. Outside of business, she spends her time caring for their three children, changing lots of diapers, watching hours of cartoons, and drawing with chalk on the sidewalk.”

Linda Troyer

Technician / Store Manager

“After living in Ohio, Florida, Georgia, and Colorado, Linda and her husband moved to Holmes County in 2016 to be near his family and joined the Coblentz Technology team in 2017. A graduate of Remington College in Tampa Florida, with an Associate of Science Degree in Computer Engineering Technology, Linda has loved working in technology for the past thirty years because it is an ever-changing and exciting industry. Previously she held positions as Remote Diagnostic Engineer and Field Service Technician for Digital Equipment Corporation, Accounts Payable and Network Specialist for BHP Minerals International, and as a Computer Resource Technician for school districts in Florida and Colorado. Linda and her husband have one son who is serving as a U.S. Marine. In her spare time Linda enjoys camping, hiking, and compiling a family genealogy project now 17 years in the works which she is afraid is never going to end!”

Matt Goff

Technician

“Matthew Goff became a part of the Coblentz Technology team in December of 2017. Matt holds a BA in Music Production from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Through his college experience he developed a love for Mac computers and enjoys servicing them. Matt is passionate about providing excellent service through exemplary workmanship and giving his absolute best to the customer. Outside of work Matt enjoys creating in his studio, playing music on one of his many instruments, being outdoors, and cooking.”

Kyle Tobias

Technician

“Born and raised in Orrville, Ohio, Kyle graduated from the Electronics and Computer Technology program at the Wayne County Schools Career Center in 2004 while also working in the school’s IT department. He then pursued the electronics side of the technology field for more than 10 years, maintaining roles in different companies as an Electronics Technician, with a focus in technical soldering and troubleshooting circuits. He has always had a strong interest in everything technology and has been building his knowledge of computers since tinkering with his mother’s Tandy 286 PC in the mid 90’s. In April of 2018, the opportunity to re-join the IT field at Coblentz Technology was offered to Kyle, and he accepted with much enthusiasm. A family man now, he has a wife and three kids and still resides in Orrville. He is also a big motor head and enjoys going to car shows, playing video games, and watching college football.”

Michael Erb

Project Manager / Senior Technician

“Michael Erb grew up in Holmes and Tuscarawas counties before joining the United States Air Force. While in the service, he completed his bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming Technologies from Southwestern College and earned his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and CompTIA Security+ certifications. After serving more than 20 years, including assignments in Japan, Kansas, Texas, Idaho, and five Middle East deployments, he returned to Ohio to spend time with his family. Mike joined the Coblentz Technology team in September 2018 and brings his extensive cyber security, network, server, and small computer support experience to our growing team. When he isn’t spending time with his family, he is an avid science-fiction and fantasy reader and loves to cook, dabble in photography, ride his motorcycle, and snowboard.”
